The purpose of CCWA is to encourage people to write. Each person sees the world through a different window of life experiences, thus each writers' voice is unique. We seek to nurture that uniqueness in our members and help them become better writers, even gain publication if that is their desire. We also support the member who only wants to record his/her family history or reflect on memories in a more private way, or who writes for the joy of self-expression. Our mission is to promote creative expression in our members and to encourage our members to share their work with a wider community. We strive to make a difference in our community by educating the public to the importance of writers and what they create. |
